A pair of warbonnets are the power for today's "Cyclone" local based out of Sioux Falls. The train doesn't go to Madison super often, so getting them here added even more uniqueness to this already rare catch. The train generally turns at the ethanol plant south of Wentworth, but on this day there was traffic for the elevator here, so they made it to the end of the line. The Madison Sub mostly comprises of an ex GN line which once stretched from Sioux Falls to Watertown, today the line exists from Sioux Falls to Wentworth. This portion of the line, however, is ex Milwaukee Road trackage, turning west at Wentworth and terminating here at Madison. This Milwaukee Road line once went from La Crescent, MN to Wessington Springs, SD.
