ATSF 302C sits at the Santa Fe passenger diesel facilities at Archer Avenue in Chicago awaiting its next assignment on either Amtrak's Southwest Limited or Texas Chief. Amtrak was 16 months old at this point and Santa Fe power was still pevalent on these trains.
