Santa Fe 2-8-0 811 was built by Baldwin in 1901 as a Vauclain Compound. Heavily modified over the years, it was simplified in 1912 and converted to an oil burner in 1923, but surprisingly never had its number changed. No. 811 served the AT&SF until 1954 when it was donated to the city of Atchison, Kansas, for display.
