| BN F45 6620 leads an empty grain train east in the middle of two horseshoes that help elevate the former GN mainline from Gold Bar to Skykomish prior to making the mountain grade climb from Skykomish to the Cascade Tunnel. The train has crossed the north fork of the Skykomish River at Index and will cross the south fork at Sunset Falls a bit over a mile from this location. |
