| Historic snow fighting train of the former Bernina Railway is waiting on the line along Lago Bianco between Ospizio Bernina and Alp Grüm for the call to move forward. Self propelled 0-6-0 + 0-6-0 (system Meyer) "Rotary" steam snow blower X rot d # 9213 was built by SLM Winterthur in 1910 as R # 1051 for the Bernina Railway. Locomotive Ge 4/4 # 182 "Bernina Crocodile" was built by SLM and SAAS in 1928 for freight and snow fighting service. |
