Classic Wisconsin Central........ WC 6602 leads a freight up Byron Hill in April of 1996. The grade out of Fond du Lac often required helpers and the 2 SD45's are on their knees here as they are about to duck under Hwy F. The hill will be double tracked in a few years to help operations run more smoothly here.
