Black Friday
As part of its routine acceptance testing, recently-rebuilt MBTA F40PH-3C #1071 just so happened to go out for a round of cab signal testing on Black Friday. Heading west on the Dorchester Branch, this extra will join the Northeast Corridor at TRANSFER interlocking, before diverging at JUNCTION and heading to Stoughton. This isn't 1071's final form, rather just the base coat for a future heritage paint scheme, which would turn out to be the New Haven's "McGinnis" livery.
