“Extras Meet on the Berlin Industrial”

On August 23rd, 2025, CTrail Extra 6711, powered by GE P40BH 6711, sits on the Berlin Industrial Track as Amtrak Extra 96 passes by on the MRS (Hartford) Line main in Berlin, Connecticut. Both extra's were in Berlin to support a joint emergency preparedness exercise. CTrail and Herzog hosted a tabletop exercise and equipment walkthrough off the MRS main line with local first responders to familiarize them with Hartford Line equipment, railroad safety, and interagency coordination.
