The Bernina Line of the Rhaetian Railway has seen a sharp increase in passenger numbers over recent years. Of course, it is one of the most beautiful railway lines in existence. Over the Christmas and New Year holidays, the rush, especially from Italy (Tirano), is almost impossible to cope with. All RhB rolling stock that can be used on the Bernina line with its tight curve radii is then in service. In the morning in Tirano and in the afternoon in St. Moritz, long queues of passengers form, waiting for a ride. "Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3512 is crossing the Ova da Roseg bridge between Pontresina and Surovas with the 7-car train 4637 of the line R19 from St.Moritz to Tirano.
