| The dual power electro/diesel locomotive Gem 4/4 # 802 of the Rhaetian Railway is on a snow clearing task on the Bernina line with the electric snow blower Xrot et # 9219, built 1967. The snow blower is currently powered by a cable connected to one of the two diesel engines/generators of the Gem 4/4.
In 2015, after delivering of new snow blowers for the Bernina line, the # 9219 was sold to the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn (MGB). |
