Nashville & Eastern rock train NE01 heads west through Brush Creek, TN with loads for the Rogers Group distribution yard in Nashville, TN. The Gordonsville, TN quarry which originated the loads is now idle, hopefully temporarily. This once very predictable run on the old Tennessee Central mainline east of Lebanon is sorely missed, both by the railroad and fans. The absence of the rock trains leaves just a few carload customers east of Lebanon, TN making for sporadic as-needed runs across the most scenic portion of the Nashville & Eastern. The pair of GEs on the head are filling in for the usual SD70M which was getting a 92-day inspection at the time.
