Early Start To The Day. On November 8, 2025, NYNJ Rail headed north on 1 Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, before sunrise. The pair of Knoxville Locomotive Works (KLW) SE10Bs are seen passing through the gate of the Brooklyn Army Terminal, once a military installation, but now a home for civilian light industry. NYNJ Rail is the only railroad in New York City that runs on a public street.
