| An early morning Q605 has just entered the great state of Alabama with 181 cars and over 10,700 feet of train. On the siding to the right are former Conrail steel coil cars which are destined for the nearby Kia assembly plant. In the foreground new ties await installation on a former CHV house track that CSX was planning on reusing, but unfortunately plans changed and this track will be taken up a few years after this photo. |
