New York Transit Museum Excursion With Budd R32s: Celebrating The Brightliners. On November 8, 2025, the New York Transit Museum (NYTM) operated a pair of ticketed "Celebrating The Brightliners" excursions, celebrating the 61st Anniversary of the debut of the Budd R32 cars. Both trips brought passengers round-trip between 96 Street/2 Avenue on the Q Line to Crescent Street on the J Line. The train changed ends at the siding near Crescent Street, and was routed via a through track in the East New York Yard, giving attendees a rare opportunity to travel over these normally non-revenue tracks. The train is seen traveling up the grade on the Williamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn, New York towards Manhattan.
