Remarks & Notes
Veteran MUs On Veterans Day. MTA Metro-North Railroad Train 747 was led by M3A MNCW 8051 (1984–1986, Budd). In the background at Ludlow in Yonkers, New York, the George Washington Bridge is lighted for Veterans Day, one of several holidays during the year when this is done for a holiday. While the M3A electric multiple unit car fleet is around 40 years old, a significant investment in their mid-life rehabilitation extended their use for another generation.
