| The large barge "local" from Grand Rapids to Detroit rolls thru the west end of Williamston on the CSX Plymouth Sub. This train is rumbling along with 61x105-171 cars... 11412 tons and 9571 feet. The crew is down to 30 minutes left before they die. This train would sits for a couple hours waiting for the dogcatch crew to catch up and move the train east. The CSX in Michigan seems to be a complete messed up mess 24/7 while we were out there in 2020. This job runs one way-each day, and it got later and later each day. |
