| Thurbo, the regional transport company for eastern Switzerland and a subsidiary of SBB and the canton of Thurgau, launched its new service facility in Weinfelden on this day. During an open house, interested members of the public were able to visit the hall with its five tracks and view the new “Flirt Evo” trains from StadlerRail for Thurbo. There is no overhead line in the hall. The vehicles are moved using this battery-powered, radio-controlled Zagro E-Maxi shunting vehicle ZA # 81268.
