| “FL9 Under New Haven Wire (Again)”
On the night of September 20th, 2025, Metro-North Railroad’s “New Haven Switcher” crew shuttled EMD FL9 CTDX #2006 and General Electric M2 pair MNCW #8707/8706 from the Danbury Railway Museum in Danbury, CT, to New Haven Yard via the Danbury Branch and the New Haven Line. The equipment was moved in preparation for display at the 2025 Metro-North Open House. In this photo, FL9 2006 leads the shove move down Track 41 on the way to the "50's" in New Haven Yard.
