Remarks & Notes
Storm clouds provide a suitable setting for the California Zephyr passing through Coal Creek Canyon, after the passenger train earlier hitting a semi-truck in Roggen, Colorado. After removing the damaged P42 in Denver, BNSF 3900 (ET44C4) was called upon to lead the train up the Moffat Tunnel Sub and over the Continental Divide.
