| On this day, the second completely renovated HG 4/4 cogwheel steam locomotive of the Furka Mountain Railway was officially inaugurated, later blessed in Gletsch, and formally handed over by the Furka Mountain Railway Foundation to DFB AG for operation. The festively decorated HG 4/4 # 708 is on the turntable at Gletsch with engineer and machine master of the # 708 Thomas Ruch (left), train chief (middle) and fireman Gian-David Fluri (right) |
