Two intermodal trains are climbing toward Cajon Summit, but the BNSF train, Q-LACNWH6-19L, which appeared in the distance first, was quickly overtaken by Union Pacific Long Beach to Denver train Z-LBDV-19 (symbolled F-ZLBDV01-19Z on the BNSF, on whose trackage this is), which arrived at Summit first. And, no wonder, as the BNSF computer lists it as only 10 cars in length! (The cars in the distance belong to the BNSF train.) UP AC4400CW 5741 leads this train, along with AC4400CWs 6035, 5587, 6873 and ES44AC 7404 … 22,000 horsepower for just 10 cars? I rarely see UP trains with that much power on them.
