Caltrans Cabbage. Amtrak F40 non-powered control unit (NPCU) 90218 is seen leading San Joaquin train 712 through Crockett, CA, passing the C & H Sugar plant. The unit is a former F40PH locomotive, converted to cab/baggage car (affectionately known as a "cabbage") and painted in Caltrans scheme.
