Illegal Colorizations: After recovering from a penalty application at CP Sully due to a fluke cab signal drop, NS 22X is again on the move on Norfolk Southern Lehigh Line Track #2. NS 1000 was the first SD70ACe purchased by Norfolk Southern, purchased in 2011. In 2016, the unit was retrofitted with HTCR6 trucks for testing. In 2025, the unit was vandalized with its number boards removed and with the front of it painted to become red, white, and blue in appearance. Behind the leader is NS 4111 (AC44C6M; rebuilt from C44-9 NS 8861 in October 2018).
