MILW 192 is ready to depart Shops Yard in Fond du Lac, WI with a Lake States train in September of 1987. Meanwhile, SOO 2551 is busy switching the yard. One of Soo Line's classic crossing shanties guards the crossing of Lakeshore Drive, which has since been closed to thru traffic. The Lake States era will end soon, as the Wisconsin Central will take over operations here in a little over a month.
