A westbound "overhead" empty unit coal train roars by the old C&O station now on the Buckingham Branch Railroad. Despite the name and the appearance of the locomotive's snowplow, this is not a branch line, hosting several freights and a triweekly Amtrak, and as of late, on beautiful welded rail.
