Remarks & Notes
Sailing through Huntingdon, PA on a June afternoon, symbol ALPI9F retains its Conrail designation (Allentown-Conway) for now. A renumbered B23-7 and a B36-7 also retain their Conrail colors with an NS SD40 bringing up the rear of the locomotive consist. The spur in the foreground was once the Huntingdon and Broad Top Railroad that ran south to Mt. Dallas and had a couple passenger schedules at one time that connected with PRR trains at the station. The road lasted until 1954. Ektachrome.
