Remarks & Notes
Detour to Downtown. Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) SD-400 LRV no. 4215 is seen clattering across the diamonds at South Hills Junction, where the Allentown Line and the Mount Washington Transit Tunnel meet. Signs and barricades in the background show that the tunnel is closed for long-term maintenance, prompting the diversion of all light rail traffic over Mount Washington on the Allentown Line rather than through it.

Pittsburgh no longer has commuter trains and Johnstown no longer has trolleys, but light rail remains strong in Pittsburgh. Mr. Rogers would be pleased.
