On April 12, 2019 I had a long lay-over at the airport in Panama City. I hired a driver to take me around and we set up at the bridge in Gamboa. I was nicely set for a picture of the train on the bridge, but after about 45 minutes or more of waiting, my driver felt we had used up our luck and if I kept standing there we would attract the police or military. So I reluctantly walked back up to the street and sat at a sheltered picnic area, figuring we would hear a train (DUMB MOVE). Not five minutes later I hear a train in dynamics, quietly coming down the grade. I jump, but the train is already over the bridge. I turn to the now chagrined driver and ask him if he has ever chased a train before. He wasn't happy about it, but he did it. At that point, I just wanted a wedgie and that's what I got!
