Remarks & Notes
Yeah, she's BIG.. With a hiss of steam from her cylinder cocks, the massive Reading & Northern T-1 Locomotive #2102 sets off on a light reverse move from the company shops in Port Clinton, PA, to Reading Outer Station, where she'll pick up her excursion train for the day. As the locomotive comes by my camera position, the sheer size of this engine becomes apparent. She's a big one. Although not THE largest engine in tourist service in the US, she's certainly in the Top 5, right up there with the Western Maryland #1309, the Norfolk & Western #611 and the Southern Pacific Daylight #4449.
