During the final hour of April 8th, 2025, Metro-North Railroad’s PMMO crew is seen operating CTDOT/CTrail GP40-3H 6695 with a mini-bomb consist on Track 2 through the station at New Rochelle, New York on the New Haven Line. Due to ongoing track work at the time, the train was forced to use Track 2 through New Rochelle, which has slightly lower wire clearance between CP 216 and CP 217. As a precaution, the wire was de-energized for the train’s passing. The locomotive typically only operates east of Stamford while on lease to Metro-North for Connecticut branch line service, except when traveling to Croton Harmon's Diesel Shop for periodic maintenance.
