The McDonald's Frozen French Fries train passes near Chichester (at Meetinghouse Road crossing), led by GP9 6538. This local began in Philadelphia, picking up loaded frozen french fry cars, which it took to M&M Distributors near Feltonville. Then it picked up their empties and took them down to Wilsmere. This is the morning of September 23, 1978, while waiting on the Chessie Steam Special. Note the footboards on the front of the GEEP. Those would be banned by the FRA that very same month.
