Day One.
Amtrak ALC-44 Charger 301 is the lead locomotive on train 97(15), seen southbound through Winter Park, FL en-route to Miami. As part of Amtrak's 50th Anniversary celebration, the locomotive was repainted in "day one" scheme, a livery worn exclusively by E8 locomotive 4316 on May 1, 1971 when Amtrak first came into existence.
