Arriving at Curriers. A small group of passengers stand outside the Arcade & Attica Depot in Curriers, NY, watching the arrival of a passenger train that will take them to nearby Arcade. The power this day is the railroad's 1920 Alco Consolidation #18.
This image was captured during a May 2025 photo shoot on New York's Arcade & Attica Railroad, which featured #18 on both passenger and freight trains. Although the locomotive normally faces north for tourist operations, it was turned on the wye in Arcade specifically for this event, to provide some photo opportunities not normally available, such as this one. This location is the northern terminus for the Arcade & Attica Railroad's tourist excursions.
