Remarks & Notes

The handwriting was on the wall when this huge string of power was stored, apparently due to a business downturn. Some operated until 1986 when their fuel tanks were removed to go to GP38s and they went to scrap. I kinda liked the chunky little powerhouses but time marches on. Photo by unknown, from my collection.
