| Alexander Railroad EMD SW1500 No. 11 leads the shortline’s daily local from Taylorsville to Statesville, NC past the spur to the Craftmaster Furniture facility at Hiddenite, NC. I was unfamiliar of “hiddenite” as a gemstone and had to do a little research to find out what it is. Apparently it is a “is a pale-to-emerald green variety of spodumene that is sometimes used as a gemstone.” |
