Remarks & Notes
BNSF Officer Special train O-THDTHD2-01A, which originated in Thenard (near the Port of Los Angeles) and is returning after turning at Barstow is heading back to Thenard. The train is about to cross Robinson Ranch Road, in the Mojave Desert a bit north of Oro Grande, as thunderheads are building to the north (which would, a few hours later, result in thunderstorms in the Antelope Valley, west of here). BNSF ES44C4 8173 has been pullinh this train all over southern California, from San Diego to the high desert this week, and was also puling this train when it departed Topeka, Kansas, on April 26, and will likely still be the 10-car trains power when it arrives back in Topeka on May 4.
