Former train station "Gare du Sud" in Nice, now used as media library and restaurant. The station was closed for trains in 1991 already, replaced by a new station some hundred meters away. Gare du Sud is a former French railway station located in Nice's Libération district. The station is the former terminus of the metre-gauge lines of the Chemins de Fer de Provence linking Nice to Digne-les-Bains (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) and Meyrargues via Draguignan.
Built in 1892 by architect Prosper Bobin for the Compagnie des chemins de fer du Sud de la France.
