Metro-North's first annual Holiday Lights Train has been running since the day after Thanksgiving, delighting passengers across the railroad.
The Maintenance of Equipment Technical Support group was tasked with coming up with a holiday lighting solution, the M of E engineering group worked on loading special holiday messages and music into the automatic station information messages, and myself and the other folks on the multimedia team created the snowflake decals for the exterior.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
