In front of Africa's largest monolith, the about 540 meter a.s.l. Ben Amira, which rises about 370 meter above the desert, the empty ore train "V5" (vide train # 5) from Nouadhibou to Zouérate is running through the Mauritanian Sahara at about 50 to 60 km/h. Pulling is a typical SNIM consist of two SDL40-2 and one SD70ACS. The about 2 kilometer long train passed PK 404 between Ben Amira and Choum and has covered more then the half of the 652 kilometer journey from the port to the mine.
