Holiday Lights, Day One. With Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror, MTA Metro-North Railroad Train 9659 (Holiday Train) was passing through the Mott Haven section of the Bronx, New York on evening of Friday, November 29, 2024 with M8 9260 leading an 8-car consist to Southeast, New York. This set has been decorated with lights and a special holiday logo for the season. This is the first day that it operated, and the railroad has stated that it will operate on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven Lines over the next month.
