On the occasion of the inauguration of the rebuilt Wildegg station area, there was open doors day in the old signalbox (Wärterstellwerk) of Wildegg. It was built in 1915 and has a Jüdel apparatus. It was replaced in 1998 by an electronic signal box, which is controlled remotely from the Olten operations center. An association has been founded to preserve the old signal box. The warden's signal box was used for the centralized operation of points and signals in the eastern station area. The Jüdel-type lever mechanism made it possible to move the points by means of power transmission via steel rods and the signals via steel cables. Hasler electromechanical block panels were installed to secure the interdependencies between the signalman's and command signal boxes, as well as with the neighboring station. 15 points (blue levers) 5 signals (red levers) and 16 routes (green levers) could be operated by the keeper's signal box, which received its releases from the command signal box in the station building.
