During the afternoon of September 6th, 2024, The Metro North/ Department of Transportation Geometry Train, with 40th Anniversary "Conrail" heritage-wrapped P32AC-DM, MNCW 201 leading, pauses in the station at Stamford, Connecticut on the New Haven Line before heading to Stamford Yard. The train traversed all of Metro-North's mainline track while the the Federal Railroad Administration's (FRA) former Metroliner DOTX 216 inspection railcar, collected geometry data reports for the FRA and US Department of Transportation.
