After running around its train about one mile (compass) east of the creek, MDDE 1203, with the 3:30 Fall Festival Express, bridges Marshyhope Creek southbound, on the return to Hurlock during the Hurlock Fall Fest on October 5, 2024.
The ‘Seaford Line’, the former PRR/PC Cambridge Secondary Track, has been operated by MDDE for owner Maryland DOT since 1977.
The re-engined Maryland & Delaware Alco is ex-DCLR 1203, exx-CR 9942 (RS3m), exxx-CR 5268 (RS3), exxxx-EL 1052, née-DLW 914. The two former Norfolk & Western coaches, 1730 and 1721, are owned by the town of Hurlock.
