Former SBB diesellocomotive Bm 6/6 # 18501, built in 1954, reached her final destination in Winterthur Grüze, brought to the Maag Recycling for scapping. Train 32391 from Winterthur was pulled by Re 4/4 I # 10039 (Re 416 # 628) (privately owned, operated by TR TransRail), in the consist was diesel shunter Tm 232 # 004 of the Stauffer, operated by Historic Rail Services. In the rear of the train was privately owned former SBB dynamometer measuring car Xd4 # 99701, which served as brake car.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
