| Meeting on Mann.
Nearly all tracks are occupied at Laxey Station with Manx Electric Railway (MER) vestibuled saloon 6 and roofed toastrack trailer 48 awaiting departure south to Douglas, vestibuled saloon 7 (with roofed toastrack trailer 40 out of sight) arriving with a northbound train to Ramsey, and Snaefell Mountain Railway car 5 boarding passengers bound for Snaefell Summit. The two railways do not share tracks as MER operates on 3' gauge and SMR on 3'-6" gauge, the latter to provide space for the central Fell-rail used on the mountain line. |
