The Verbano Express association from Luino/Italy organized a day trip over the Gotthard to Schaffhausen to visit the Rhine Falls, which is currently carrying a lot of water. The train "Espresso del Reno" of the railroad company TR TransRail ran with the only green Re 420 # 161 (Re 4/4 II # 11161) rented by SBB Passenger Traffic from Luino via Bellinzona-Gotthard mountain line-Arth Goldau-Rotkreuz-Wohlen-Brugg-Baden-Regensdorf-Bülach-Rafz to Neuhausen Rhine Falls and Schaffhausen, and back again in the evening. Four former SBB light steel coaches with center boarding, built between 1953 and 1957, were used, which came to the association via Ferrovia Nord Milano (FNM). The train 31114 can be seen near Jestetten, on German territory, which is crossed on the journey between Rafz and Neuhausen.
