This was C&NW Weekend at the Illinois Railway Museum, where all the C&NW locomotives on museum property were given a chance to run trains on the mainline. The museum also hosted the C&NW Historical Society as part of its annual convention, and Union Pacific even sent UP 1995 for display! Here, CNW 1689, one of two surviving RSD-5 Alcos, smokes it up a bit as it leads a run of the caboose train through Johnson Siding.
