Four Norfolk Southern locomotives lead the San Bernardino, CA to Austell, GA (via NS interchange at Memphis, TN) Z-train as they charge out of Walapai and round the curve of Antares. Normally, the westbound version of this train (Z-AUGSBD) consist of a solid NS locomotive consist. Once in San Bernardino, those NS motors get turned onto the Z-SBDAUG, but they're usually trailing behind BNSF motors. Seeing an eastbound train with a solid consist of NS locomotives is quite rare for the BNSF transcon.
