| The 44 Intercity tilting trains ICN RABDe 500 # 001 to # 044 of the SBB were built in two series between 1999 and 2005. In February 2020, it was decided that the trains would be overhauled at the Yverdon-les-Bains plant for a further 20 years of operation. The first train, RABDe 500 # 004, has been on test runs for some time as a prototype of the refit. The front design has been slightly changed and the SBB signet is now chrome-plated in 3D. The entrance doors are also red in the lower area. The train is ready for departure in Delémont as test 97145 from Biel to Basel. |
