On the morning of February 24th, 2024, southbound CTrail Hartford Line train 6401, led by CTrail (CTDX) GE P40BH 6709, passes the former NYNH&H Longmeadow Station House while traveling down the MRS (Hartford) Line in Massachusetts.

The Longmeadow station house, erected in 1884, initially stood at the Emerson Road grade crossing. Following the closure of the station in the late 1920s due to diminished ridership, it underwent relocation, shifting approximately 400 feet to its present location, as depicted. An extension was subsequently appended to the north end of the original structure, repurposing it into the Town of Longmeadow Department of Public Works building. However, in 2021, the DPW relocated into a new facility, leaving the future fate of the structure uncertain.
